Brampton Festival Singers is a community based group of about 60 singers dedicated to bringing the experience of large choral ensemble presentation to the Brampton and Peel audiences. From the toe tapping rhythms of musical theatre and jazz concerts to the magnificence and glory of Handel’s “Messiah” and Orff’s “Carmina Burana” their performances have been a part of Brampton cultural life for twenty five years.
The choir will be presenting three concerts at the beautiful and acoustically satisfying Rose Theatre in Brampton, during the 2011/2012 season. The choir has won such prestigious awards as the Brampton Arts Council’s Bloom award for best large group ensemble performance during the past four seasons.

Handel's masterpiece will be performed by Brampton Festival Singers accompanied by the Great Lakes Orchestra and guest soloists. Look for some new, exciting twists to this performance! This timeless classic is a beautiful way to herald in the Christmas season.

Family of Brampton Festival
Brampton Festival Singers in conjunction with the Brampton Library, is presenting a thrilling day at the Rose Theatre to celebrate the diversity, talent and community that makes up the Family of Brampton. From 1 – 4 p.m., there will be mini performances by many different art groups in our city...singing, dancing, theatre, readings, writings, visual arts and more. There will be displays from many groups as well. At 4 p.m. there will be a concert in the main theatre featuring BFS and guests. The winners of the piano, vocal, writer's and visual arts competitions will be performing as part of the program. It is a day that will appeal to all the members of the Brampton community.
