The Brampton Festival Singers is a community based group of about 60 singers dedicated to bringing the experience of large choral ensemble presentation to the Brampton and Peel audiences. From the toe tapping rhythms of musical theatre and jazz concerts to the magnificence and glory of Handel’s “Messiah” and Orff’s “Carmina Burana” their performances have been a part of Brampton cultural life for twenty five years.
The choir will be presenting three concerts at the beautiful and acoustically satisfying Rose Theatre in Brampton, during the 2010/2011 season. The choir has won such prestigious awards as the Brampton Arts Council’s Bloom award for best large group ensemble performance in 2007/2008 and 2008/2009.
